If you ever pay a visit to Oliver Beckert, be sure to bring along some fish food and ask to use the bathroom- there are several goldfish swimming around in Beckert's custom acrylic toilet tank.

Beckert didn't put his aquarium in his bathroom because of tight space. He is one of five Brooklyn, New York, product designers, collectively known as ELSEWARE, who recently collaborated on a series of avant-garde bath products. One of the most novel was the dual-compartment toilet tank. The rear section holds the water that flushes the toilet, and up front there's an 8-gal. home for fish. Cost: $1200.
