A FISH STORY Beckert didn't put his aquarium in his bathroom because of tight space. He is one of five Brooklyn, New York, product designers, collectively known as ELSEWARE, who recently collaborated on a series of avant-garde bath products. One of the most novel was the dual-compartment toilet tank. The rear section holds the water that flushes the toilet, and up front there's an 8-gal. home for fish. Cost: $1200. The tank is available as a custom-built product, though it is being adapted for wider production and distribution. Check out this and other neat products at www.elseware.to - A.M.M. |
