Oliver Beckert grew up in the desert of Las Vegas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received a bachelor's degree in history. His dissatisfaction with the objects that surrounded him convinced him to move to New York and pursue product design. He received a master's degree in industrial design from Pratt Institute. |
